1. Download the SNAP installation files from the Download link: Download
2. If you are updating from a version prior to v 1.1.0 you must backup your data before continuing.
3. Open (Windows 7 & Vista - Right click and "Run as Administrator") the downloaded SNAP.exe file and follow the instructions it gives.
4. If you are updating from a version prior to v 1.1.0, restore from the last backup you have just carried out.
Adobe Acrobat Reader is required for version 1.4.0 onwards.
Windows 98 users: If the installer fails, you may need to download & run Instmsia.exe from Microsoft and repeat step 3 above.
Windows 2000 users: If the installer fails, you may need to download & run an Windows Installer update from Microsoft and repeat step 3 above.
The files below are not included in the package but may be required for correct operation of SNAP. MS Windows XP and later (and many earlier versions) will have them. In the event that you do not have them on your machine, they can be downloaded from Microsoft.
